The MayoNnaise Jar and 2 Cups of CoFfEe

When things in your life seem , almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class
And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions ˆ
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Ramadhan in week 10, it is already coming to an end...
Huhu... I am so sad as i don't think this Ramadhan is better than before...
I'm sorry Ya Allah, I'm so sorry for all the sins I've done...
I hope I will meet you Ramadhan next time, I'll be missing you throughout this year..

But.....
Yes, Syawal is coming...It is around the corner..
I think most of us are thinking about hari raya right now,
everything is about raya, raya, and raya..
The new clothes, kuih raya, balik kampung..hehe..
That are the discussions going on when we meet any of our friends..
Even today, I meet a woman who I never talk to, and she asks
me when I'll go back to hometown..The discussion go on and on about hari raya..
Heehe.. the message here is Hari Raya could make
people united. We are 1 Malaysia right?

Hmm...about today's class... there are only 18 people here today..
Like I said all of us are in Raya mood... Some already back to hometown,
even we are here in the class but our mind is already fly to hometown..
Thinking of what my mom is doing for Raya preparation...
My sisters helping out whatever necessary and lot more things to do at home..
The feeling, the happiness, the eagerness..hehe.. That was what I'm thinking of
right now...

Haha..I'm not talking about what happen in class yet.. Only raya and raya..
hehe..okay, about the class some of us already show their storyboard including me...
And we also see two videos...
I'm attracted to the video about "Bidadari Syurga"..
The song and the pictures used give a very big impact and I'm very touched with the video...
I'm thinking that, it would be good if I could be like the one described in the song to my
husband.. Hehe.. I really want to be a good wife to my husband in the future..

Class end early today.. We leave at 11.30 and heading straight home as most of us
need to pack our belongings to go back to our hometown!
Hmm I think that is all that I want to talk for now....

I hope that these Ramadhan and Syawal are blessed by Allah
from the beginning till the end... I want to seek for forgiveness from all of you
from the small matter to big one.. I'm so sorry if anything that I did hurt all of you

9th week past.. Almost the end of Ramadhan..

Salam and hi to all,
we meet again.. The 9th week past already..
we are heading to the 10th week... and only 5 week left
for this very first semester, life in UM....
hmmm.. so far I think I'm able to suit myself the chaotic life of
university students, being stuffed with excessive work sometimes
make me feel really tired but all that does not stop me to learn...
For me learning is still the best part of life.. having friends around,
supporting me, discussing, sharing are part of the best things
which I could only have when I'm still learning...
World of work will definitely not going to be the same..

Okay, as for this week class, we started the class by watching some videos about Chun and Ella and also some videos produced by our seniors. All the videos, for me are very interesting
and have the messages conveyed through it. Thus,
from that we know that what we we are going to learn is about producing a video,
and also editing video. The task is we need to produce a video in pair.
We are given some time to discuss on the theme of the video and what
we want the content to be. The most important thing that need
to be included in our video is the message. We can produce any video
that we want but it must have a message conveyed through the
content of the video. For this task, I'm pairing with Zul. He is very enthusiastic
to produce the video and he is also willing to act for the video. I'm glad that I'm
working with him. I do not mind actually as long as I'm comfortable and the
work is done. To Zul, Chaiyok!! We will try our best to produce a good video.

When we finished discussing, we need to tell Puan Foziah the theme and the
plot of the vidoe that we are going to produce. This is because, by doing this
we will know that our video is acceptable or not and luckily our ideas are accepted
and just need to make some changes in some part of the story.

Hmm... about our video, we choose the theme "respecting and appreciating our parents".
We are going to shoot some scenes and put some other things that are going to make our video interesting like pictures and songs. In producing the video, Puan Foziah suggested some
softwares that we could use to compile and produce the video. Some of the
softwares are, One True Media, Window Media Maker and Video Edit Magic.


Next week, we need to show the storyboard to Puan Foziah. We are
working on it on the very best. Hopefully all are going to turn out well
and we could produce the best for this course. Have a good day and take care,

Assignment Sent = 8th week

Salam 1 Malaysia,
Hi guys..how are you? Hmm... Its almost half Ramadhan already..
And resource class already be at its 8th week....

This week, is the week where we have to send in out assigbment,
individual and group work...
Hmm... everything went on well and we manage to finish it on time...
Nothing much to talk about that, just all those are helping us to prepare for
future assignment and also for our future teaching. All the editing and making e-book
will definitely help us for our future teaching. We will be able to use what
we have been learning to increase the students' attention and interest to the lesson.
For me all that are very useful and must be use by use to the fullest.

All that we learned can be used as teaching aids for the classroom teaching
and learning. Everything that we learned should not be put away. We will be using it as
we are the future generation teacher. We will be teaching the K-12 students and they are
well to use with technology. Thus, we should be able to improve our skills and to get involve
with the E-learning and MLearning. Al that are very useful to us in the future.


Besides that, we also need to analize some research by completed some form and prepared
power point slides. The research is all about integrating technology in the classroom. As for my group, we got the article "Use of technology in English language Learning". It is about how we use technolgy and integrating it in English Language Learning. It is also about the learning
skills that could be acquire by integrating technology to the learning like the reading and writing
skills.

All in all, whatever we have been involve all these are very important to our future,
especially for our future teaching as language teacher. Technology is a vital for the K-12
students in the future. They are born as digital native where everything around
them are digital and involve technology. We cannot avoid that and we have to face that.
It is the future reality that whatever circumstances come, we have to and we need to face
